KSSK Lead Spring Arbitrons

Clear Channel’s KSSK FM 92.3 led the overall spring Arbitron ratings that were released this weekend. The station’s popular Michael W. Perry & Larry Price morning show held on to its customary lead at the top of the morning drive ratings. The show has been #1 for nearly all the time it has been on the air. The radio duo will be celebrating their 25th anniversary this coming Saturday, August 9.

Overall Clear Channel had 4 of the top 10 Honolulu market stations in the overall ratings. Cox Radio has a lock on overall positions in the #2, #3 and #4 slots with KINE FM 105.1 (Contemporary Hawaiian), KRTR 96.3 FM (Adult Contemporary) and KCCN 100.3 FM (Island Music). Salem’s Adult Standards station KHUI 99.5 FM “The Jewel” is the 5th most popular station in the market.

Also in the top 10 are Clear Channel’s KUCD FM 101.9 (Alternative rock), KSSK AM 590 (A/C), KDNN 98.5 FM (Island Music), Salem’s KGMZ 107.9 FM (Oldies), and Cox’s KPHW 104.3 FM (Urban CHR).

Just under the top 10 overalls are Visionary’s KUMU FM 94.7 (adult contemporary) and KPOI 105.9 FM (classic rock). Clear Channel’s KHVH 830 AM (news & talk) led the field of several talk radio station in town.
